C. R. Newsome and Associates, LLC was born out of our founders concern that many small businesses start out with great ideas but never achieve their maximum effectiveness. This can be in part due to lack of business planning, ineffective business models, lack of understanding of the competitive environment, or poor customer service to name a few. At C.R. Newsome and Associates, we provide short-term and long-term consulting engagements for small businesses that are focused on your success. We pride ourselves in understanding your needs and mapping out a strategy to get you to your goals.
Chauncey R. Newsome is an accomplished executive with experience managing and leading in the private, non-profit, academic, and public sectors.
His life has been focused on growing people and growing organization. For over 20 years, he held several key management positions in sales, marketing, customer service, vendor management, strategy, project management and operations.
For several years he led the Corporations Division of the Office of Secretary of State and achieved great success streamlining processes, improving customer service and dramatically reduced processing times for establishing new business entities.
He serves on the faculty at Clark Atlanta University's School of Business teaching courses on Management, Human Resources Management, Global Leadership and Leadership & Professional Development. He served as a faculty adviser to the CAU Business Consulting Institute. His research interests include strategy, entrepreneurship, leadership, ethics, and corporate social responsibility.
Chauncey has over twenty-years of experience in working with non-profit organizations developing their leadership teams and strategic planning. He has developed strategic plans to grow membership associations and maximize their impact in the community. He has conducted workshops and seminars on leadership, team building, goal setting, strategic planning, and time management for leadership teams of numerous non-profit organizations.
An accomplished speaker, Chauncey has delivered key note addresses for several organizations including: "Leading with Excellence", "Pursuing Excellence" , "Achieving Personal Effectiveness", "Customer Service Excellence".
